This weekend retreat is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the BLove Flumie Method with Bear Love, creator of the BLove Flumie range, and his partner, Shion Buschner.

Under Bear’s watchful eye and hands-on guidance, you will learn the complete range of playing techniques for all Flumie sizes, gaining confidence, sensitivity, and skill in their application.

These practical teachings are supported by gentle Qi Gong practices led by Shion, designed to encourage good posture, energetic awareness, relaxation, and a deeper connection with the field of sound.

Participants will experience the authentic BLove approach to gong playing that Bear and Shion have developed together over many years. While rooted in excellent technique, this approach extends far beyond mechanics. It has evolved into a unique sonic art form and sacred practice that invites the player into a deeper relationship with sound, silence, presence, and their own inner journey.

This retreat is suitable for both new Flumie players and those with previous experience who wish to deepen and become more established in their practice.
